Movie Monday: Whip It
Monday, June 3 @ 3-5pm, Ages 11-18

Chill out on a hot day with us! Enjoy popcorn and other snacks while watching this quirky coming of age movie (PG13).  In Bodeen, Texas, an indie-rock loving misfit finds a way of dealing with her small-town misery after she discovers a roller derby league in nearby Austin.” AGES 11-18.





Teen Advisory Board (TAB)
Monday, June 3 @ 5-6pm, Ages 11-18

 
Teen Advisory Board is a volunteer team of teens that meet once a month. Members make book suggestions for the library, help plan teen programs such as the SRP and Haunted House and other exciting upcoming events or projects. We will discuss what's popular in teen books, magazines, music, and movies, and/or decorate the teen space in the library. Snacks are always provided at the meetings! TAB applications are available at front desk. AGES 11-18.


DIY Series: Bookmaking
Wednesday, June 5 @ 6-8pm, Ages 11-18

We’ll teach you two different kinds of books you can make by yourself! Learn about zines: what they are, how to make them, and why they’re important. Also, we’ll teach you how to make the latest craze, smashbooks!  All supplies provided, though feel free to bring your own. Snacks provided too, of course! AGES 11-18.

Chill out on a hot day with us! Enjoy popcorn and other snacks while watching this documentary about online deception (PG13). “Young filmmakers document their colleague's budding online friendship with a young woman and her family which leads to an unexpected series of discoveries.” AGES 11-18.

 
Anime Club
Wednesday, June 12 @ 6-8pm, Ages 13-18

For ages 13–18, Anime club is open to dedicated fans of Anime and Manga, as well as beginners. Anime Club meetings are free and include previews of Anime, Manga, J-Pop music, snacks, and fan art sharing by teens.

Coffeehouse & Talent Show
Wednesday, June 19 @ 6-8pm, Ages 11-18

Chill out with your favorite cup o’joe! Come read your favorite book, find a new one, or just hang out with your friends. Showcase your unique gifts in our one-of-a-kind talent show and win awards! Free coffee and delicious snacks! AGES 11-18.

Chill out on a hot day with us! Enjoy popcorn and other snacks while watching the 1990 classic (PG). “Four human-like turtles, trained by their ninja rat mentor, must learn to pull together in order to face the menace of Shredder and the Foot Clan.” AGES 11-18.



 Graffiti & Post-it Art
Wednesday, June 26 @ 6-8pm, Ages 11-18

Get ready to let the community see your artistic talent! We will be covering the sidewalks and one wall with our version of graffiti- the washable kind! Also, we will create pictures around the library using post-it notes in all colors! This is a one-time-only event so don’t miss it! AGES 11-18.
