Teen Advisory Board

Monday, November 10 @5-6PM, Ages 11-18

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a volunteer team of teens that meet once a month. Members make book suggestions for the library, help plan teen programs and assist with displays or other projects. If you are interested in becoming a member, please fill out the TAB application   located at the front desk. Ages 11-18.



Tuesday November 11- CLOSED for Staff Development Day



Anime Club

Wednesday, November 12 @ 6-8PM, Ages 11-18

For ages 11–18, Anime Club is open to dedicated fans of Anime and Manga, as well as beginners. Anime Club meetings are free and include previews of Anime, Manga, snacks, fan art and fan fiction sharing by teens. 



International Games Day

Saturday, November 15 @ 2-6PM, Ages 11-18

Drop in anytime for online and board gaming! Join us as we engage in this international event with 43 other countries to prove that libraries aren’t just for books! We will have lots of games set up or feel free to bring a favorite to teach other teens! Ages 11-18.




YA Authors: JS Burke and Courtney Stevens
Monday, November 17 @ 6-8PM, Ages 11 and up.

We are bringing in two up and coming YA authors for a book signing, readings and fireside chat! Don’t miss this unique opportunity to find out what it is like to be a published author and get advice from the pros! JS Burke, author of science fantasy The Dragon Dreamer, will have signed copies of her dragon novel and activity books. Courtney C. Stevens, author of edgy, realistic Faking Normal, will motivate young women to Channel Your Brave! Ages 11 and up.




Mockingjay Release Party
Wednesday, November 19 @ 6-8PM, Ages 11 -13

Celebrate the release of the long-awaited Mockingjay Part 1.  We will be screening Catching Fire and eating themed snacks! Come dressed in a tribute costume for a prize of 2 tickets to the premiere of Mockingjay! Ages 11-18.
