Cinco de Mayo

Help us celebrate this Mexican holiday at the library. We are having traditional Mexican food, games and a piƱata!


Finals Cram Sessions

Need a place to study for exams? Try the library! We have closed off designated areas for silent studying and group work. The library will have snacks and drinks ready for high school students who study for finals at the library.


Cowboys v. Ninjas Showdown

Summer Reading Program Kick-off Party

Saturday, May 21, 3:00-5:00PM

Get ready for an all out, ultimate water battle with Cowboys v. Ninjas. Team Ninja will be armed with water balloons and the Cowboys defend their honor with water guns. Let the games Begin!

Batik T-Shirts

Sign-up at the front desk!

Create your own unique t-shirt by using the Batik fabric dying method. We will supply the shirts and dye, you bring the creativity.


International Film Series

Thursday, May 26, 6:00-8:00 PM

Watch a movie that features cultures from around the world. The young adult staff will select a movie each week that highlights various cultures for teens to enjoy. Popcorn and drinks provided! Some movies may be rated PG-13.


International Cuisine Class-ITALY!

Tuesday, May 31, 6:00-7:00 PM

Learn how to create a simple dish from Italy! The best part is, once the cooking is finished, you get to eat it! NOM, NOM, NOM!
